Halloween in 3, 2, 1...

Hard to believe but Halloween is Monday! As mentioned, will be holding a potluck party. Each student has agreed to bring a small dish to share with the rest of the class. Please remember that anything made at home should have all the ingredients clearly labeled and all products must be nut-free. Our party is an unstructured period (40 minutes) so students are welcome to bring board games to play in small groups.

Students are welcome to wear their Halloween costume should they wish. It should be appropriate for our everyday activities (e.g. playing outside) and any props which are valuable (such as masks) or simulated weapons should be left at home.

A worthwhile resource for building resilience or 'Grit' in children is the website, A Might Girl. In particular, talking with your children after looking at these resources can help to develop positive friendships and relationships.

Thanks!
