First week, check!
We had a terrific first week! Students are settling into their routines and we will be starting up our academic program in earnest starting next week. As mentioned, although we are a split class, students will be studying separate Science and Social Studies programs while participating in many joint activities to build a sense of classroom community.
Please remember that Tuesday, September 13 is Meet the Teacher from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. During that time, you are welcome to visit the class and put a face to my name. The Meet and Greet format will allow us to briefly talk about plans for the year.
Finally, please remember to check the school website at: katimavikes.ocdsb.ca. There is a calendar with upcoming events to keep in mind such as the Terry Fox Run and Photo Day.
