School Council Update

Hope everyone is getting back into the groove of things.

 

Snow White Presentation

Your kids should have mentioned seeing a Snow White Presentation that was paid for by the School Council.  There was an anti-bullying message in the play and the actors went into the classrooms afterwards to talk to the children about being an actor and answering any questions that they had.  We've received great feedback regarding this cultural presentation.

 

Mayfair

A letter has been sent home asking for volunteers for Mayfair as well as a Save the Date Note.  More documentation will be coming home with students.  Check out our website:  http://fmpsmayfairweb.wordpress.com/  to see who we have coming, our donors and the amazing list of raffle prizes that we have so far.  The lists are still growing!   If you can help out at Mayfair or know of someone who can donate a prize, please contact us. 

 

Domino's Dough Nights

Our school will be benefiting from some more Domino's Dough Nights.  We will be hosting 3 more of them this year.  More information to follow.

 

Ottawa Children's Choir Auditions

School Council was asked to pass along the following message:

The Directors of the Ottawa Children's Choir, Jackie Hawley & Allison Prowse, invite you to audition for the upcoming season. Auditions are open to students ages 8-15 (as of September 1, 2014).
